Chalet Alex occupies the upper two floors of the sumptuous retreat that is the Chalet Shalimar, when combined with sister Chalet Elena the two accommodate twenty in total. Chalet Alex is the larger of the two properties and offers indulgent Matterhorn views from the floor to ceiling windows in the living and dining rooms and also from the master bedrooms.
Occupying an enviable ski-in/ski-out location (snow conditions dependent) in the Winkelmatten area of Zermatt, Chalet Alex is an excellent winter retreat with superb facilities. Alex and Elena share the private wellness area situated on the lower ground floor of Chalet Shalimar which provides plenty of space for relaxation, with swimming pool, sauna and hammam as well as massage treatment room.
This penthouse apartment really is a delightful chalet in which you can relax and enjoy attentive service and gourmet catering. There is plenty of space for the whole party to relax in with two additional entertainment rooms, perfect for a post-dinner drink or for children to unwind and watch a film after a day’s skiing.
