In the Pafuri area of the Kruger National Park, The Outpost is a small and luxurious 12 suite camp for 24 guests in a unique and elevated position. The privileged location of this lodge is where an incredibly high concentration of the Kruger’s wildlife is found. With over 80% of the park’s biodiversity found in this northern section it makes for excellent game viewing opportunities. 

The Outpost features award-winning architecture and guests stay in elevated lodges on a full board basis with all meals and local drinks included. The luxurious suites sit high up perched above the bush with wide ranging 180 degree views, they are cantilevered over the Luvuvhu river valley. From this setting the sunsets are incredible and many animals can be spotted with a pair of binoculars at hand. 

The lodge feels rugged and out in the wilderness with the suites and main lodge connected by elevated walkways, however it is filled with creature comforts and luxury. The suites are open-plan and the shutters are remote controlled, some offering river views; it is truly spectacular. There are also bush view suites and one honeymoon suite with 270 degree views.

With such a wide variety of flora and fauna to be discovered nearby to The Outpost, the inclusive twice daily game drives provide incredible wildlife spotting. The walking safaris give rise to an exciting way of discovering the bush and its inhabitants on foot. These not only focus on seeing wildlife but also on learning about their habitats and the natural geography. This can be tailored to guests interests.
