The LUX* South Ari Atoll is a chic and stylish island, with over four kilometres of pristine white sandy beaches. There are a choice of excellent restaurants and bars and it is truly somewhere guests can switch off and relax. Guests can sip champagne and spend afternoons on the day beds after visiting the spa, on the island of Dhidhoofinolhu, a peaceful hideaway in the Indian Ocean. For those who are more active, there are numerous activities on offer. This island offers something for everyone, including romantic honeymoon dinners or family-friendly childcare and a range of villas.
Just a 25 minute seaplane flight from Malé International Airport, the LUX* South Ari Atoll is excellently located. One of the larger islands it feels spacious and calm, guests can enjoy the many facilities and choices available. From the Cafe LUX* to the Beach Rouge or watersports centre guests will be spoilt for choice here. The island is excellently located for spotting the famous whale sharks all year round. There is also a house reef for snorkelling, beautiful views and shallow turquoise waters surrounding the island in every direction.
The LUX* South Ari Atoll has eight delightful restaurants and a range of cuisine available. From fresh locally caught seafood and Maldivian flavours to Mediterranean and Asian feasts guests will be spoilt for choice. This island is spectacularly laid out with two swimming pools providing sunset views and five bars; from the relaxed beach bars to the more lively options where guest DJs are flown in to entertain guests.
There are a superb range of pavilions and villas on the island. All of these are spacious and finished in a light and modern style with outdoor space and furnished terrace and decking areas. Many have private plunge pools and sleep from two adults to a family of four with ease. The island has in-house childcare from three years and upwards, with plenty of activities dedicated to children. There are numerous water and land based activities included on the all-inclusive package. For those looking to relax and for peace and quiet, guests will find many retreats dotted around the island.
