The Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge has a small collection of cottages and suites, all with living areas and fireplaces as well as verandas overlooking the incredible rainforest and with mountain views. Within the grounds of the lodge there is a nature garden and the cottages are dotted throughout the gardens providing guests with privacy in beautiful surroundings. The main lodge has a bar and lounge area finished in a traditional style with a relaxing ambience, there is also a shop, reception and dining room. The restaurant serves local cuisine and offers a delicious menu, here guests can choose to dine inside or al fresco on the deck with the Virunga Mountains backdrop.
The Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge has a strong focus on socio-economic development and conservation. Helping to conserve and preserve the mountain gorillas natural habitat they also focus on helping the locals who live in the area to preserve this incredible area. The local staff and guides are passionate and enjoy guiding guests through the Volcanoes National Park and surrounding areas.
