Day 1: Villa Vista, Windhoek, Namibia

Fly into the capital city of Namibia, Windhoek, a vibrant and lively, built up city, with a range of restaurants to dine in. Including your first chance to try the local game. Whether you chose a Toyota Fortuna or a Golf Ford Ranger, your car, map, emergency phone and sat nav, will be delivered to your lodge. A helpful information pack with directions (it is easy to navigate through Namibia) for your trip so you are ready to set off in the morning.

It is a good idea before you leave Windhoek to go to a supermarket in town and fill up on water and car snacks.

Day 2:  Waterberg Wilderness Lodge, Waterberg, Namibia

Waterberg Wilderness Lodge

Located in a valley at the foot of the magnificent Waterberg Plateau, the lodge is surrounded by the Waterberg National Park. Home to many animals such as buffalo, rhino, antelopes and leopards. The lodge is part of the Otjosongombe Farm a beautiful private establishment, which offers guests a chance to relax by the swimming pool or explore the hiking trails.

Day 3: Onguma Bush Camp, Etosha National Park, Namibia

The Onguma Bush Camp is one of Namibia’s best kept secrets, originally part of the Etosha Game Reserve, the Onguma Game Reserve is located on the eastern side of the Etosha by the Fishers pan.

This large reserve offers over thirty different animal species and game roams freely throughout the reserve. During the summer the Onguma Bush Camp is popular with bird lovers with over 300 species that can be viewed from the camp. Offering a swimming pool, bar, lounge and restaurant area overlooking the watering hole it is the perfect place to relax after your evening game drives.

Day 4: Okaukuejo Rest Camp, Etosha National Park, Namibia

Located in the western end of the Etosha pan, the Okaukuejo Rest Camp is the home of the Etosha Ecological Institute. With plenty of space to relax around the swimming pool, the chalets are comfortable and well placed. The watering hole is one of the best in the park offering superb chances to view the wildlife. Elephants, jackals, white lions and black rhino are some of the animals that regularly frequent this watering hole.

Whilst breakfast is included there is a restaurant serving lunch and dinner as well as small shop, petrol station and post office.

Day 8: Twyfelfontein Country Lodge, Twyfelfontein, Namibia

Beautiful rock formations across the Aba Huab Valley, a place hidden in the mountains, enjoy the remoteness, views and relax by the swimming pool. The Twyfelfontein Country Lodge is set in the heart of the conservancy with 64 en-suite rooms offering a spacious lounge and spa as well as petrol station. En route to the lodge you can visit Burnt Mountain an interesting area formed of volcanic rock giving the impression of flames on the mountain.

Day 8: Cornerstone Guesthouse, Swakopmund, Namibia

Swakopmund is a beach side town that separates the desert from the Atlantic Coast. Here you can explore the German architecture, historic buildings and monuments. There are many coffee bars, shops and restaurants to explore. The town is subject to nine months of morning fog, however temperatures rarely fall below 15 degrees centigrade and there is plenty to do in this seaside town. For example you can visit the flamingos or take a trip down to Walvis bay to go kayaking with the seals, alternatively find adventure by quad biking on the sand dunes. Take a catamaran cruise to pelican point and if you are lucky you may see dolphins, leatherback turtles or humpback, southern right or orca whales.

Day 9: Desert Homestead Lodge, Sosussvlei, Namibia

Set within the Namib Nature Reserve, Sesriem is an excellent place to visit. The Namib-Nankluft National Park is the perfect place from which to see the beautiful landscape or enjoy the magical night sky. From here you can take a day trip to the Sossusvlei, with its spectacular red star shaped dunes, or the more energetic can take on the climb of Dune 45, otherwise known as Big Daddy. Visit the historic Deadvlei, an expanse of white clay and skeleton trees that are carbon dated to 500-600 years old which stay in their state in the desert only due to the lack of water. Self-drive through the park or take a guided tour run by the Desert Homestead Lodge.

Day 11: Desert Horse Inn, Aus, Namibia

Located in the Aus Mountains the Desert Horse Inn offers incredible views of the mountains and desert scenery. This excellently located private farm is located on the edge of the Namib Desert and is fantastic base to explore the area. Visiting places such as the diamond ghost town of Kolmanskop or the Wild Horses of the Namib. You may also choose to visit Luderitz, a quirky town with one of the best harbours on the African cost. A hub of trade and fishing as well as being the most popular place to find diamonds in Namibia on and off the coast.

Day 14: Anib Lodge, Kalahari, Namibia

The Anib Lodge is located on the east fringe of the Namib Desert in the Kalahari. The Lodge is the perfect break for your last night in Namibia. Close to the Gondwana Kalahari Park,the perfect place for a sunset drive and to enjoy a sundowner in the Kalahari Desert.
