Home to some of the most exclusive chalets, hotels and resorts in the Alps, Switzerland is a country that many dream to ski in. With the Swiss Alps meeting the French, Austrian and Italian Alps they are wonderfully scenic with each resort beautiful and charming in its own right. Served by both Geneva and Zurich airports, thousands of keen skiers and snowboarders visit each year in search of some of the best skiing found anywhere on the planet.
We have selected our favourite three resorts in Switzerland; St. Moritz, Verbier and Zermatt, to offer to our guests, as in our opinion they provide everything that you could wish for from your next ski holiday…
St. Moritz, the ski playground for the rich and famous, is a spectacular resort set around the beautiful Lake St. Moritz. This is a wonderful resort for skiers as well as those looking to enjoy the beauty of the mountains, fine dining, shopping and watching or taking part in sports such as ice skating and polo. With an incredible choice of exquisite hotels such as the Badrutt’s Palace you will certainly fall in love with this wonderful resort.
Verbier is part of the incredible 4 Valleys with over 410 kilometres of piste to explore. A beautiful resort, with a lively atmosphere, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy. Highlights include the Farinet and Pub Mont Fort for après ski hotspots and nightlife options such as Le Rouge. There are divine restaurants to enjoy such as Chez Dany set in a stunning location on the mountain, serving traditional Swiss cuisine with inventive twists, whilst Le Table d’Adrien offers an Italian Swiss menu and affords Michelin star status.
Zermatt, is a spectacular resort. Part of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise it is one of the most snow-sure and beautifully iconic resorts in the world. Zermatt equally offers excellent skiing, fine dining and après ski. With plenty of fun to be had and many bars to frequent such as the Hennu Stall set on the mountain and Papperla Pub and Snowboat in resort you will be spoilt for choice. Culinary treats aplenty can be found in Zermatt; restaurant Findlerhof is a true mountain delight with refined Swiss cuisine drawing on its neighbouring Italian influence, complete with rustic charm and uninterrupted Matterhorn views.
Zermatt and Verbier offer a vast range of luxurious chalets, whilst St. Moritz has some spectacular hotels.
