Located in the pretty French ski resort of Tignes Les Brévières, the Chalet Charlie is an impressive modern chalet which is just a minute or two away from the closest ski lift. This chalet is part of the Black Diamond Residences, a complex of six chalets which offer luxurious, quirky and unique accommodation, each with its own style. 

The Chalet Charlie is one of the largest of the chalets and together with its sister Chalet Tango, shares the theme of aviation. Throughout Chalet Charlie there are flight themed trinkets, an impressive children’s playroom made from the fuselage of a 1950s Nord Noratlas aircraft and a flight simulator game to play here in what is a wonderfully surreal experience. The play room doubles up as a children’s bedroom with four children’s beds and an en-suite shower room. There are six further bedrooms with king-size or twin beds and en-suites. 

The open-plan living area of Chalet Charlie is full of warmth and beautifully inviting with sofas that creates a focal point in the chalet. The dining area is charming and there is a hidden children’s games room and table football to play. For those wanting to rest any tired ski legs the chalet has a private wellness area with a sauna, hammam and relaxation area, meanwhile on the terrace there is an inviting outdoor hot-tub.

As part of the Black Diamond Residence complex the chalet has access to a number of shared facilities. These include a ski lounge, après ski terrace and bar and a fitness suite, there is also a spa with a swimming pool, hammam and massage treatment rooms. The Chalet Charlie is available on a catered, bed and breakfast or self-catered basis. When booked on a catered basis there is excellent dining and attentive service. Professional chefs prepare meals in the central kitchen of the Black Diamond Residence and these are then served by the chalet host to guests in the privacy of their own chalet.
