The Christiania Penthouse is the jewel in the Christiania Residences crown. A distinguished complex which was completed in 2017 and provides expertly crafted accommodation for groups. The Christiania Penthouse occupies the top two floors of this popular residence and is close to the heart of Zermatt. The chalet apartment is within a couple of minutes from the charming centre of this Swiss ski resort and within a 10 minute walk of both the Klein Matterhorn gondola and Sunnegga funicular ski lifts.
The top floor is exceptional, made up of a large living space for 14 guests to relax in absolute comfort. This open-plan penthouse has a large sociable seating area which leads out onto a furnished balcony with stunning mountain views. There is an open-plan dining area as well as a cinema room. Downstairs guests will find the private chalet sauna as well as seven spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom is something quite special, with an en-suite bath and shower, seating area with log fireplace, walk-in dressing room and a large furnished terrace complete with Matterhorn views.
A complimentary ski instructor is included for the first two days of the week’s holiday at the Christiania Penthouse, enabling guests to get to know the ski area and make the most of the incredible slopes of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise ski area.
The Christiania Penthouse provides daily housekeeping and dinners are gourmet delights which are provided by the professional chef who works out of the kitchen of the Christiania Residence. The dining table is wonderfully spacious for 14 guests and can be extended to seat up to 26 guests so should larger groups wish to also book additional chalets such as the Christiania Apartment 5 (sleeping four guest) or Christiania Apartment 2 (sleeping six guests). For corporate ski trips of groups of up to 48 guests the entire Christiania Residence can be booked for sole occupancy.
