Complete refurbished in 2020 the camp achieves a true 5* status set in the Linyati area of Botswana. It has amazing wildlife on its doorstep and the DumaTau Camp overlooks the Osprey Lagoon. With both land and water surrounding the camp the sheer variety of wildlife to be seen is wonderful and it is not uncommon to spot rare animals such as wild dogs.

The individual tents at the DumaTau Camp are some of the most exquisite that can be found in Botswana. These are incredibly luxurious, spacious and the views are genuinely exceptional. It is not unheard of for elephants to walk past nearby and to spot the local wildlife from the comfort of your private plunge pool. There are also twice daily game activities included to see a range of wildlife outside of the camp, these include: morning and afternoon game drives, night drives, seasonal boat safaris, seasonal barge safaris, nature walks, seasonal fishing and birding.

This intimate camp has just eight tents alongside the main lodge. The main lodge is spacious with plenty of pockets of space for all guests to relax in between game viewing. The lounge and dining areas are comfortable and well furnished, they have amazing views and there’s plenty to do here. The DumaTau Camp shares a new wellness area and fitness suite with its sister camp; Little DumaTau. This includes a lap pool, spa, snack deli and shop.

As a leading wildlife camp the DumaTau Camp places a significant importance on conservation and preservation. Built with green operating systems means that 100% of the energy used is solar powered. Not only this but wastewater is treated and eco-friendly detergents and chemicals are used. DumaTau is also committed to having a light ecological impact and working with local authorities for the preservation of wildlife.
