Mowani Mountain Camp, Namibia
5* lodge
The Mowani Mountain Camp is perfect for those looking to stay in the wild landscapes of Damaraland. A sanctuary that is built amongst the boulders and rugged land found here, the lodge offers spectacular views and sunset experiences. Each room or suite is private with an en-suite and some of the more luxurious suites offer private living and dining areas for guests to enjoy.
With a strong focus on eco-tourism the Mowani Mountain Camp prides itself on being part of the conservation efforts in Damaraland. With a community vegetable garden and private watering hole, expanded to ensure a herd of local elephants have enough to drink, the lodge not only supports elephant conservation but also supports the desert lion project. There are a range of local activities, game drives and excursions that can also be booked whilst staying at the lodge.
The main lodge has a comfortable and spacious lounge and bar area and for guests looking to relax they can enjoy the beautiful views from the sun loungers and swimming pool. This offers an ideal break from the desert heat and the perfect place to rejuvenate between game drives.
